The Seiko World Time Kinetic GMT reference SUN067P1 (white) and SUN069P1 (black) are apparently reincarnations of the 6217's release in 1964 during the Tokyo Olympics with one big difference; it is driven by Seiko Kinetic calibre 5M85, an environmentally friendly quartz GMT movement powered by a mechanical automatic mechanism. The electrical charge generated by the oscillating weight is captured and stored in a reusable rechargeable capacitor (up to six months).

The comtemporily sized 44mm all steel case spots three crowns (actually two, the third is a button to check the power reserve), the SUN067/69 with classic world time dial design even comes with raised domed hardlex crystal capturing the vintage spirit really well. If you wish to know how much power is stored in the capacitor, simply press the button at 2 o'clock and watch the second hands which also acts as a power reserve indicator. For every 5 minutes it runs, there is 1 month power left, up to maximum of 6 months.

Fancy some horological nostalgia with rich history and tree hugging environmentally friendly cutting age accuracy...look no further.
